Is the Winter League appropriate for all skill levels?

Yes. The Volleyball Stars Winter League offers three skill-based divisions to ensure players are placed in the appropriate competitive environment.

  • Bronze: Beginner/Developmental

  • Silver: Intermediate/Competitive

  • Gold: Advanced/Competitive

All players are placed in a specific division based on skill level to promote growth, confidence, and balanced competitive play.

Do the players need to try out?

Players interested in the Gold or Silver Divisions must be evaluated to ensure fair, competitive balance. Athletes may attend any Volleyball Stars daily clinics free of charge to be assessed. Those playing in the Bronze Division do not require a tryout.

What if my child tries out and doesn’t make a team in the Gold or Silver Division?

Players not placed into Gold or Silver will be assigned to the Bronze Division, which is designed for development and skill-building in a positive team environment.

How many days per week is the commitment for this league?

Weekly commitment varies by division:

  • Gold & Silver: (1) team practice, (1) strength & conditioning session, and (1) match per week

  • Bronze: (2) team practices and (1) match per week

What if my child misses practices or games?

We understand families have busy schedules or occasional conflicts. Players may miss practices or games due to illness, school commitments, or family obligations.

To receive the full developmental and team experience, players are encouraged to prioritize practices and games whenever possible.

Can players request to play with friends?

Yes. Players may submit friend requests during registration. Requests are considered whenever possible but cannot be guaranteed.

Can I request a specific coach?

Coach requests may be submitted during registration. While we do our best to accommodate requests, coach assignments are not guaranteed.

What is included in the registration fee?

  • Official game jersey

  • Practice shirt

  • Weekly team practices

  • Fitness training sessions (Gold & Silver Divisions)

  • Weekly matches

  • End-of-season playoffs and championship games

When are playoffs and championship games?

  • Playoffs: March 20-21, 2026

  • Championship games: March 27-28, 2026

    *Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams

Is there a refund policy?

Registration fees are used to cover league expenses including uniforms, facility rentals, staffing, and scheduling.

As a result, refunds are not guaranteed once registration is completed.

Refund requests due to extenuating circumstances may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis prior to the start of the season. Missed practices or games do not qualify for refunds.

How do I pay for a session(s)?

Payment options include Venmo, Zelle, or cash. We are also adding credit card payments as an additional option (a small convenience fee will apply).
